Who we are
Stockton Patios is a local patio business. Patios and garden paving are our whole trade, and our team works right across the borough and its edges: Stockton itself, Norton, Hartburn and Fairfield, Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick, Billingham, and out to Yarm, Eaglescliffe, Wynyard and Sedgefield.
That spread takes in a lot of different gardens. Walled yards behind the Victorian terraces off Norton Road. Long, straight gardens behind the 1930s semis in Hartburn and Fairfield. Sloping plots on the newer estates in Ingleby Barwick and Wynyard, where steps and retaining walls come into it. And older houses in Yarm and Norton where natural stone looks right and some streets sit in conservation areas. We take each one as it comes.
What we do
- New patios in porcelain, Indian sandstone, slabs and paving and resin.
- Paths and steps, from a bin path in a terraced yard to steps up a sloping new-build garden.
- Garden walls: low walls, raised beds and retaining walls in brick or stone.
- Patio relaying and repairs: sunken, rocking or cracked slabs lifted and re-bedded on a proper base, or a tired patio relaid from scratch.
No driveways, fencing or decking. Just patios and the paving around them, done properly.
How we work
- We come and see you. The site visit is free. We look at the garden, listen to what you want and talk through materials and layout.
- We measure up. We measure the space, check levels against the house and the damp-proof course, and plan where the water will go. Heavy clay is common around here, so the drainage gets proper attention.
- You get a written quote. Itemised, in writing, and free. There's no obligation to go ahead.
- We do the groundwork properly. Dig out to depth, a compacted crushed-stone sub-base, slabs bedded on full mortar, and a fall away from the house.
- We leave it tidy. Joints filled, edges and lawn lines made good, waste removed, and a word on when you can use it and put the furniture back.
